Our Mario Kart Coin war has begun!!! Students can now bring in pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters until the end of the week. The class from each group with the most coins BY WEIGHT will win a pizza party. BONUS: Each $1 bill donated adds one pound to your class's total. Tomorrow we will share rankings and totals for each class. When you're spring cleaning, make sure to clean out those couches! Thank you for fundraising for the PTO. All donated money is invested in the school, students, families, and staff.

Message from the PTO -
Our third annual Coin War starts this coming Monday, March 30th! This year, we are changing it up with a Mario Kart theme. Each class will have its own Mario Kart character and get to see it 'race' to the finish line! Classes are divided into groups: Kindergarten through 2nd and Pre-K & 3rd-5th. The class that brings the most coins in by WEIGHT in each group will win a pizza party. AND if a student brings in cash, each dollar will add 1 pound to their class's total. Students have until Friday, April 4th, to bring in coins or cash. The winning classes will be announced before Spring Break. Thank you for always supporting our school's PTO, students, families, and staff!
Reminder for our Florence Elementary Families - Tonight is our Family Math Night and Family Book Fair Night from 5:30-7:00! Snacks will be provided and there will be fun math games, shopping challenges, and more! Book fair will also have open shopping with cash, credit, or e-wallets accepted! We hope to see you there!

The PTO has moved their meeting originally scheduled for this evening to Monday, March 9th at 5:45 PM in the cafeteria. We will be discussing our upcoming Coin War and Teacher Appreciation Week. The meeting is open to all parents and guardians of FES students, and kids are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!
